Knowing this, we can also supply 4/0 cable, which is tailored for easy connections with all our power generation equipment to save you valuable time and resources. Distribution panels from 100A to 500A are also available with 120 or 240V power receptacles for use in applications where a place to connect to is difficult and these also connected to the generator quickly and easily. Larger sets feature Power Transfer Equipment designed to coordinate with Cummins/Onan generator sets to provide automatic transfer functions between a utility service and a rental generator set and floodlights when on. But we don’t stop there, if you have an event critical enough to demand around the clock monitoring, we can assign a factory certified technician to handle any emergency while operating the generator. Delivery

Cummins Cal Pacific offers several delivery options to our customers. You may pick up the generator at your convenience or our team can deliver the generator and all the required accessories to your location and set up the equipment.

In either case, we will give detailed operating instructions. If there are any questions while renting a generator, call anytime (24/7) to get answers from a member of our generator technician team.

Customer Pick up – If you have a truck equipped to tow the generator set, you are welcome to pick the equipment up at our facility

Drive and Drop:All equipment is delivered to the job site by a third party, Moving equipment from the original drop point, set-up and tear-down is customer responsibility. All generators below 200kW are trailer and mounted and can be moved with a vehicle with a pindle hitch. Pick-up of equipment is normally completed by a third party. It is customer responsibility to disconnect, coil and place all cables at the pick-up site.

Delivery and Setup:All equipment is delivered to the job site and set up as requested. This includes placement of the generator(s), stringing the cable, hooking up distribution panels and verifying operation. Tear-down of the equipment including cable and distribution panels is included. Connections are done by a licensed electrical contractor.

Total Service:Same as above, plus a Generator Field Service Technician will be on-site during the event(s). The technician will arrive prior to the event and depart following the event. The technician will have typical service parts available in case of an emergency including fuel filters and other common service items.

Operators

If you have an event critical enough to demand around the clock monitoring we can supply a factory certified technician to handle any emergency you may encounter while running the generator. The technician will arrive before the event and be on hand during the event with typical service parts and tools to ensure uninterrupted power. Whether it is a critical outage, upgrade of repair permanent power equipment, an entertainment event or anything else, we will be there for every crucial moment to insure success.

Cummins Cal Pacific offers all of our rental customers the option to have a generator operator onsite for the duration of your rent. We realize that many hospitals are required to have a trained specialist available during the event of a power outage to maintain the generators and detect potential problems. Similarly, many entertainment contracts require an onsite operator for the generator. Whatever you specific needs are, Cummins Cal Pacific can make sure your rental runs smoothly.

Lights

Whether you need to light up a parking lot, a job site, or event tent, Cummins Cal Pacific has the equipment to brighten your night. Each of our light carts has four, high output, adjustable position lights.

Cummins Cal Pacific also has diesel powered 4000W floodlights to brighten your night. There are (4) 1000W adjustable bulbs, mounted on a tower which extends 30 feet into the air providing as much light as you need, where you need it.
